Sometimes you have to meet the wrong horse for you to realize what the right horse looks like. I had adopted a horse who ultimately was not the best match for me like I had hoped. Shortly after making the difficult decision to send that horse back to the rescue, my best friend pointed Kindle out to me.
She was a rescue who had been waiting to be adopted for a long time, despite having several people very interested in her. She was green and needed a confident person to help her overcome her uncertainty. When I met this stunning little mare in person, I was in love. She had been on the road to slaughter before being rescued and took a lot of time to rehab and began to trust people. Now she is rideable and genuinely likes people. She has come such a long way thanks to her rescuers (Front Range Equine Rescue & Shiloh Acres Rescue). She is my perfect little partner, and I feel so fortunate to call her mine. I am more impressed with her every time we work together.
What #RightHorse means to me
The right horse brings out your confidence and ignites your passion for horsemanship and riding.
