After having a bad fall and severely dislocating my elbow I became scared to ride. I am thankful that Jennifer of The American Saddlebred Legacy Foundation and my mom pushed me to keep riding horses.
Jennifer took the time to let me come out to her rescue and try multiple different horses until I found the right one for me. I ended up choosing Champ out of all the horses I looked at.
I fell in love with Champ and just had to have him. Champ wasn’t like the other horses. There is something about him that I just fell in love with. We connected so well and it’s like we understood one another. When I rode him I wasn’t nervous like I was with the other horses that I had tried out. He is such a sweetheart.
Champ is now in a home where he is being spoiled and loved. All horses deserve to be loved and spoiled by someone that they can trust. I’m happy to say that champ is my #therighthorse. A big thanks goes out to Jennifer for helping me find this sweet and wonderful boy.
What #RightHorse means to me
#RigthHorse means to me, a horse that is fitting for you. It may not be the horse that you always dreamed of, but it’s the horse that you connect with. It’s the horse that no one else believed in but you did. The right horse is out there for everyone. It may take time to find that horse but you will. Just keep trying because the #righthorse will come along and it will be a perfect connection.
