We had been watching Zeenah for several months at horse shows and we couldn’t believe she hadn’t been adopted. We thought maybe because she wasn’t a refined Hunter horse but she was so talented, kind, gentle and willing. She was excelled in flat classes and loves to jump.

When we discovered that my daughter’s older horse had a stifle injury and was experiencing front end instability, we started looking for another horse we could love and she could grow with. We asked Vera if we could come try Zeenah.

As a horse mom, I had a strong feeling she was going to be a perfect match and disposition for Brooklynne. And I was right, their connection on the ground and in the saddle was instant, my daughter felt so safe and connected to her. She hadn’t been adopted yet because she was waiting for us and now I understand…these two are magic together and a match made in horse rescue heaven.
