She has far exceeded my expectations and surprises me every day with what an incredible horse she is. She loves everyone and is so funny. She constantly has me laughing. She’s the sweetest horse with my kids.

As their health improved, their personalities blossomed and they became as tame as puppy dogs. They often inhabit the yard, follow us into the garden, come when called, and have perfect manners.

He seems to enjoy our time together, always coming to me when I arrive at his pasture and always staying with me after our outing and his halter is off. I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have him in my life.

When I saw a thoroughbred mare with such a kind eye listed online on Monty’s adoption page–with the prediction that she would make an excellent kid’s horse–I was intrigued.

He loves to jump and we do some low level eventing. He has taught me to never give up on your goals and even though you may be a little different, if you are determined, nothing can stop you.

Sterling has saved my life in so many ways and I have been able to get through tough times in my life thanks to him. He is my #RightHorse because I know I can depend on him to understand me.

I just kept getting drawn back to him, I absolutely couldn’t stop thinking about him even though he wasn’t at all what I was looking for. Now, we’re in the running for a buckle this season.

I was excited for a challenge. I wanted to build a bond with this horse and I think he felt that way too. I couldn’t look at any other horse there; it had to be him. Soon after, I brought him home.

We marveled at what a perfect fit Dante was for us, and how we never would have connected with him had Horses Haven not transferred him to their rescue. We are forever grateful to both adoption groups.

Since then he has been stuck to my hip and has found trust in me. And I have found a friend in him. We are so blessed to have found this guy and he will forever have a home with us. Every equestrian needs a Warrior in their life.
